| Position Summary: |
The Client Relationship Manager's primary responsibility is the retention of, and to generate revenue from, an assigned client base. Retention of clients is accomplished by conducting in-person meetings and presentations to determine client needs; develop lines of communication between the client and TALX staff; respond to client issues; resolve client problems; to be visible, accessible and cultivate relationships with clients. Revenue generation is accomplished through add on business, selling additional tax credits, cross-selling of other product lines, and fee adjustments.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Conduct in-person client meetings to include implementations, workshops, annual reports, contact plan, problem resolution and cancellations.
- Receive and respond to client's telephone and written requests; act as a liaison between client and staff in serving the client.
- Assess client needs in order to develop service programs and communication paths between client and internal staff.
- Review and resolve compliance issues with client and internal staff.
- Determine opportunities for generating revenue through program enhancements, delivery of incentive analysis, profitability improvement or other product lines.
- Assist the Sales Organization on non-client sales calls of TALX products, when necessary.
- Sell and/or assist in sales of other products to client base.
- Additional related projects, as assigned

Minimum Qualifications and Competencies:
- Performing job independently
- Clear, pleasant speaking voice
- Professional appearance and behavior
- Ability to listen, comprehend, read, learn and retain state regulations and tax credits as well as procedures and to retain departmental procedures.
- Must have the ability to prioritize multiple work projects and function independently from supervision to meet deadlines.
- Well formulated, grammatically correct written correspondence.
Minimum Education and/or Experience:
- Previous account management experience
- Bachelor's degree
- Mandatory 1+ years experience selling or servicing Federal, State and Local tax incentives
Computer Skills Required:
-
PC literate, knowledge of various software applications, such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Sales Logix. Physical Requirements or Environmental Factors:
