| Position Summary: |
The Architect is a senior technical position and is primarily responsible for guiding the technical approach and methodology of developers and systems engineers.
Responsibilities
The primary responsibilities of an Architect include:
- Development Guidelines and Direction
- Development Methodologies
- Unit and Load Testing Requirements and Guidelines
- Specification Reviews
- Code Reviews
- Application Development
- QA Communications
- Coordination of cross product development
- Infrastructure Usage Planning
- Data Modeling Review
- Application Design (where needed)
- Design Reviews
- Security Reviews
- Promotion Management
- Developer Guidance / Support
- Help with candidate interviews

| Requirements |
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent work experience.
- Experienced with multiple core technologies used by TALX Product Development (Microsoft .Net Platform; C# and ASP.Net), including database platforms (Oracle & SQL Server) and application development suites
- Proven expertise at the Technical Team Lead and/or Senior Development Engineer level
- Proven communicator and teacher
- Fluent in database design/re-design, both in new and existing models
