Position Summary:
The Manager, Web/Interactive Services will be responsible for managing activities and performance within a cross-functional user experience (UX) and design team. This position reports to the Director of Web/Interactive Services.

You must have a thorough understanding of, and be able to execute within, all components of the UX design discipline including research, testing, usability and information design, engagement, aesthetics/visuals, credibility, and value creation. A working knowledge of accessibility concepts and limitations is desired.

Within this role, you will manage projects and people inside a UX team that includes interactive design/development, usability research, graphic design, motion graphics, and audio/video expertise. This team designs rational, reusable navigation schemes, components, and templates across products - ensuring a scalable and effective user experience.

This team also provides creative and online marketing support for in-house product marketing efforts. In this capacity, you should have a solid grasp of the tools, trends and techniques used in the production of desktop publishing and graphic design. 
 
Requirements
  • 4+ years experience creating and testing UI models, interaction flows, and screen designs for the Web as well as experience in print design/desktop publishing.
  • 3+ years of experience managing design teams
  • Extensive knowledge of creative process, design thinking, and UX methodology.
  • Solid understanding of technology, tools, and trends in Web and new media design/development as well as desktop publishing and graphic design.
  • Bachelor's degree or higher in human-computer interaction, communication, interactive media, graphic design, industrial design, or related field.
  • Ability to engage and influence management throughout the organization
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong presentation skills
